Early images of Deepwater Horizon fire

iReporter Michael Roberts was one of the first to witness the oil rig fire on the Gulf Coast. The captain arrived on a rescue boat that was feverishly trying to put out the fire with its hoses. To get footage of the disaster, Roberts stood in heat so intense it was peeling the rescue boat's paint.
